I guess you'll be calling it, "The Big Sock", or "Sock it to Me", or "Sock-In"?

I'm up for it, I'm from Newcastle and a true Geordie (Teesiders are SMOKIES not Geordies and have a totally different accent btw ;-)).  But will it be really be in the north, or are we talking Leeds or Manchester?

That's smoggies, not smokies, isn't it? As it goes, my original accent was a bit more northumbrian sounding (before years of being here diluted it) and it never sounded particularly hartlepudlian (which has it's own uniquely bad accent).

Still, to your "typical southern ponce", they'd all sound alike I expect ;-)

So far we've got victims... err i mean party goers.

Anyone got an A1 to demonstrate? I can bring my laptop for AROS, and depending on how far it is from where I live I could bring my Pegasos.  I don't drive you see.

The list so far is:-

Me
Leander
Karlos
Blobrana
Smithy

Is there room for a shandy-drinking southerner?

I might as well enjoy some choice MTB trails while I'm there...

OK. Make it a bit further North and I'll bring my A1 and Peg1.
As far as 'demonstrating' them, I'll leave that to someone who knows
how to work them properly. ;-)

Glasgow, Edinburgh or Geordieland and I'm in. Manchester's a
possibility too.

And real Northern party would be Inverness or Aberdeen, ye daft
Southerners.

Seems like a great idea. I don't have much time to do any organising so that will have to be someone elses job.

Manchester, the home of the curry mile, could be the perfect venue (barring the rainy weather) ;-)

I have an A1XE (Unfixed) that I could bring along. Somebody else would need to demonstrate it's capabilities as I'm not able to.

I am sure there are many others in the North West lurking around. We just need a really good incentive to draw them out . :juggler:

I can bring a few bottles of window cleaning fluid.  Add a splash of coke and it'll be a bit like Vodka! ;-)

I'm sure the Pennines can provide you with plenty of biking terrain too.

I'm sure the vodka I was drinking last night was cleaning fluid. I feel like crap still 24hrs later.  My own fault though, i'm not supposed to be drinking at all at the moment. :-(
