While there isn't any theoretical problems with using a Voodoo2 in an Amiga, the fact remains that there are no drivers for it. :-(

Voodoo2s doesn't seem to be usable for anything other than playing Doom 3 theeese days! :-D

As far as I know the Voodoo2 was a 3D only card (I could be wrong here), i.e. it can't do 2D graphics. However the Voodoo Banshee was similar to the Voodoo2, except it had the 2D bit on the card. So you may want to try that as a driver.

Well, the V2 has a framebuffer that can be written to by software, but it has no 2D-acceleration nor is it VGA/VESA-compatible, but it can do 2D!

It can but you gotta load each frame as a texture...

To answerr the question instead of talking theory... no... there's no V2 drivers for the Mediator so it won't work. It's a shame casue I have 3 V2 cards here that are doing absolutley nothing but sitting and collecting dust. :/

Like the others said the voodoo2 was meant to be a 3D addon for an existing 2D gfx card and there are no mediator drivers.. but the voodoo banshee, like gonzoninja already said, is some kind of a stand alone version of the voodoo2 and IIRC works with the elbox voodoo driver..
