Apollo 1260 66mhz,, is it good?
«

A friend's a1200 died, and he will sell me his apollo1260/66 card if I want it, but I was wondering if it is a good card, or will it give me crashes and incompatibilities? Right now, the main use for my a1200 is whdload... Any comments?
Thanx! :-D

It can crash when you're not using the 68060.library. Find a copy of OxyPatcher to speed up the FPU operations, when you want to play Quake.
WHDLoad works fine with the Apollo 1260.

Yes, use the MMulib if it's an LC 68060. I've the same card with a 75mhz LC chip and can't get it to work with any other 68060.library reliably.
