No problem mate! :-) Glad to hear its going well. I love the idea of following a local football team. It's such a pity that you aren't getting much support from here. It appears the morons on this board prefer to talk a load of crap such as "google fight" rather than doing something constructive for a change.

If someone says "please vote for my team" it is about passion. The increase in popularity may help the team (ie with money) in the future. I don't know about you odin, but i prefer helping a football team rather than piss around on "google fight" or the "its Friday/Saturday" threads. Its the same {bleep} day in day out.

Yes, but it seems a lot like rigging a vote which (after read a bit further on that page) could win quite a bit of money to the team with the most votes.

And that, sir, is just plain lame. Sure, if you're really interested in that particular team than vote away, but I'd the chances of any a.org members ever having heard of that team is zero (well, perhaps other Norwegian a.orgers).

Then again, one could say that the organiser of the poll is just acting foolishly :-).

Besides, everybody knows that you should vote for Selbu ballklubb :-P.

And what is so lame about this. This guy has kindly linked his football club site here and asked us kindly to look at the site and then vote (if we wanted to). That sir is not lame. Of course there will be a little competition between clubs, but that is too be expected. This guy has done nothing wrong and he is not repsonsible for that.

I bet if some one like "iamaboringperson" posted some crap (like he usually does) about something, that includes a vote, then a flock of Amiga.org memebers would follow that. But it seems when a vote is romotely serious, like this one, then no-one bothers!

Thanks for your support! :-D Yes, my intention was not to rig the poll, but just to make it a bit more attractive. A team mate said that I should spread the word, and I decided to do it on Amiga.org (I am an addict). Before I created this request, I thought that some A.orgers might find it a bit lame. And it looks like I was correct...
