Because they got bored of finding pieces of food in their beards?

Hmm, self-administered back shaving...how exactly does that work? Sellotaping a razor to a toothbrush will only get you so far.

I think someone would end up with no eyebrows and no head hair if they tried that.

he he facial hair.

A friend of mine when he was a teenager was complaining that he wasn't developing facial hair as fast as his mates and therefore he felt a little immature, especially around girls. I remember the advice we gave him:

"...for two weeks you need to cover your face with salt day and night. Don't let it come off, grind it into your skin. When the two weeks are over fill a basin with cold water and hold that about an inch from your chin. Those stubborn hairs will be so thirsty by then that they'll grow right before your eyes just so they can get to the water..."

Plucking nose hair is actually a very good way to get an infection, also can lead to all sorts of other discomforting issues like ingrown hair/acne inside the nostril (I've had this before, it sucks...your nose hurts for weeks)
Buy a "personal groomer"(nose hair trimmer) and be done with it.

*penny drops*

I pulled a hair out of my nose a week or so ago and it's still sore. :-(

Luckily I'm not a hairy person so I don't worry about hairy backs and things...

Thats how it all starts :-o One becomes two, two ends up becoming many, soon you'll have a moustache of nose hair
