Help with AWEB
« on: September 01, 2004, 03:34:23 AM »
A few questions about AWEB, I am using the version that comes with OS3.5.

1. How do I get it to load the whole webpage instead of flashing everytime it loads
   an image from the webpage?

2. How do I get it to let me use the Smiley's and the weblink functions ?

3. What is the best editor to use ?

Download the newer Aweb APL version 3.5.01.  One of the "bugs" it lists as fixed is unneccessary screen redraw.  You can find a link to the APL site from www.amitrix.com.

I've also noticed that similarly configured machines behave differently with AWeb when using either Picasso96 and CyberGFX.  I need to look into it a little further, but I'm sure one is worse than the other.

I believe it was CyberGFX, when I tried it with CyberGFX it took forever for it to scroll down the page.

Thanks for the link,

The direct address to the Aweb APL site is http://aweb.sunsite.dk.

Well, I downloaded Ver 3.5, it seemed to be faster until it crashed the system. I guess I'll tyr it again later (I am on my PC now) and see what happens.

Is there anyway to make the buttons (link, quote, etc.) in the reply/post screen work from
Aweb?
If not, is there an Amiga webbrowser that allows you to use these functions ?

I am using Aweb 3.5.01 beta, I have 3.4 setup as well.
