T Zero
« on: August 31, 2004, 11:02:03 AM »
hi,

I recently bought T-Zero, but I can't get the music to play off the CD, it says there is no CD installed.

I have used the preference editor and the config file points to my 1230scsi.device unit 3.

My installed version of Genetic Species works fine.

I have an 1200 tower with blizzard 030 / SCSI kit.

Any idea how to get it to recognise the music ?
The game itself will play off the CD.

Cheers,
Trebz

You need a mixer of some type to have the sound out plug on the CD drive to plug into. I'm not sure if you can do that on an a1200. I know the A4000 has an audio in plug on the motherboard. I did see some mixer board hacks on Aminet. Another thing you can do if your CD drive had a headphone jack on its fron is plug in a cable to that and mod the end to connect it to the same source your A1200 audio out os going to. Its a mess that way, and hard to balance the sound, but it works. A mixer is the best choice.

Hi,
The audio output from the CD is all connected and mixed with the output from the 1200.
The game doesn't seem to recognise the CD drive somehow.

I also had this problem. You need to download T-zero 1.1 from www.clickboom.com. If you couldn't find a download link, you could ask Clickboom to send you the patch.
