As long as it can take the TV standard of your amiga (PAL or NTSC) then there sholdn't be any reason that it couldn't be used with it!

The PSOne monitor is a little monitor that connects to the PSOne (or anything with a composite video out). The idewa being that it can be used on the move (say in a car).

i think there are LCD:s/TFT:s for gameboy/PS2 as well.

the one for PSOne has a 3.5mm stereoplug and something that looks like USB.

At least here in Sweden there's 4" TFT monitors on sale that claims to be compatible with DVDs, video cameras, etc. I don't see why an Amiga shouldn't work with this depending on what output you use.

Swedish only but I think the rest of you get the idea :-)

By the way, I wonder what resolutions it can handle. If it's got fewer TFT cells (or watchacallit) than say 640x256, would it skip lines or do some other trick to fit the image? A normal TV image would perhaps not suffer from being "scaled" but trying to use your computer with a 4" scaled-down version of your Workbench would be very frustrating...

;-) Since the PSOne is designed to use a television set normaly, and Amigas are able to use them too, there shouldn't be any problem with resolution, as long as you use NTSC.  (Or PAL, depending on what your display expects.)

:-? My concern would be over timing, sync, voltages, etcetera.  And wiring the connection might be tricky.

I have actually hooked up 2 Casio MiniTVs to my Amiga just for fun.
I used the RF input on both of them, the first was a 2,3" TFT one with 60000 pixels resolution and the other one was a 4"  LCD one. 2" was crystal clear and stable as rock but almost impossible to read had to turn text up to 30 pixel but very good for images.
The four inch one was almost useable in 640x256 with text in size12 or 14 or something but very narrow viewing angel of standard LCDs. both are dead now :-( dont trust those mainsadapeters the burn out sooner or later  a fry your expensive toys.
The 3,5mm plug is probably an integrated compositevideo and audio in there was that kind of connetor one the casios and i jused it one the 4"  with that rf to 3.5mm i bought .
Yes the Rfin was also a 3,5mm an mono.

What will you use it for amiga in a car or something?

Forgot to mention the tv adaptor. And just a small jack-plug/RF connector.

In glorious colour!.

I've hooked up a 12" TFT monitor (IBM model) to my A1200 with a SyncDoubler, and it looked awful. TFT monitors are very picky about their Syncs.

Just thought I'd mention that. ;-)
