To get more speed:

1. Add more fast memory. Adding fast ram will always give better speed.

Erm, no - once you've got *some* FastRAM, adding more won't speed up the system, assuming that programs don't start to use ChipRAM for stuff that isn't related to the custom chipset functions, of course.

True. Unless the initial fast RAM is on the A2000B motherboard or on a zorro2 card.

@Apache2k:

If you look at the upper right region of this image you will see 8 identical DIP-memory-chips. That is the Hurricane 500 memory. It can be either eight 256Kx4bit DIP-memories for 1MByte of 32-bit memory or eight 1Mx4bit DIP-memories for 4MByte of 32-bit memory. The memory on the Hurricane 500 has its memory mapped in the 8MByte Zorro2 memory-space, so you will have to remove some Zorro2-memory in order to make the Hurricane 500 memory fit inside the Zorro2 memory-space. I would suggest that you remove 4MByte Zorro2-memory.

It is also not impossible that the Hurricane 500 software is needed to activate the memory.

Also note that you need the 32-bit memory on the Hurricane 500 to work to notice much more than a slight speed-increase compared to the stock 68000@7.14MHz.

Ok, now this did help alot, cos i have 4+2+2mb memory on zorro, no software installed to the Hurrican. This combination explains why i cant get the power of the Turbo Card.
And this also explains " i think so " why my A2k system fails time by time :))

Huh,, damn this is complex stuff :)
Thanks again.

Once again,, You all where right.
I did install the software(germany) i got 1 mb extra memory and the SysInfo shows

4.87 x A500
3.71 x A2000B extra ram
0.44 x A2000B GVP A3001
1.29 x A2500 A2620
0.56 x A3000 25MHZ
0.13 x A3000 PP&S 68040

NOW IM VERY HAPPY even it gives GURU error if i plug my  Supra 4mb memory. ( 1mb hurricans + 2 mb normal + 4 mb normal supra memory = guru error )

Now the sytem is runing very smooth with 5 mb ( i still remember the 8mb limit)

Thanks for all for helping.
