If you look at the upper right region of
this image you will see 8 identical DIP-memory-chips. That is the Hurricane 500 memory. It can be either eight 256Kx4bit DIP-memories for 1MByte of 32-bit memory or eight 1Mx4bit DIP-memories for 4MByte of 32-bit memory. The memory on the Hurricane 500 has its memory mapped in the 8MByte Zorro2 memory-space, so you will have to remove some Zorro2-memory in order to make the Hurricane 500 memory fit inside the Zorro2 memory-space. I would suggest that you remove 4MByte Zorro2-memory.
It is also not impossible that the Hurricane 500 software is needed to activate the memory.
Also note that you need the 32-bit memory on the Hurricane 500 to work to notice much more than a slight speed-increase compared to the stock 68000@7.14MHz.
