Amiga 3400 prototype on Ebay
« on: July 07, 2004, 12:13:13 PM »
Clicking here will take you to an auction with a prototype for the A4000 which was called A3400.

It's not a one of a kind machine, but it's pretty damned close. It's for real - I've seen it IRL myself actually :-)

yea, you're losing now. LOL  (that'd be me winning, currently.)  how cool it would be to win, which I doubt..should go pretty high.

No, it's not an A3000+. It's functionally very close to an A4000. In fact it even runs AGA demos and games etc. :)

I don't think it is.  The 3000+ had an AT&T DSP, which
I believe this doesn't (At least I don't see it on the
3400).

It irks me when someone tries to charge for Paypal to cover fees.. against Ebay policy.. I'll make sure I inform 'em of that. :pissed:

That's against ebay policy? Oops, I always put that in when I auction stuff on which I only expect a very small price (you know like when EBay fees+Paypal fees>actual price :-)).

It's not against the rules. Why would it be? You buy, you pay. What's the problem? You choose the payment method, and if you choose Paypal, you should be happy to pay for the convenience. Not everyone charges the Paypal fees to the buyer, but they could if they wanted to.

It's a fairly recent amendment to the T&C, IIRC. It's in eBay's interests, don't forget, to forbid Paypal charges.

As for that Miggy... Wow! :-)
