Multiplot data plotting program defect?
« on: July 01, 2004, 06:13:44 PM »
Hi everybody. I wonder if anyone has the answer to the following question. I found that the data plotting program called Multiplot XLNd (from Fish Disks) no longer saves graphs/plots in ILBM format if used under OS 3.9. I got to this conclusion when I found that the same program DOES save generated graphs in ILBM format on another machine running WinUAE and with OS 3.5 under its seat-belts. To be more precise, when used under Amithlon with AmigaOS 3.9, the program generates uncomplete or corrupt "*.pic" data file (only 252 bytes in size), whereas when I use the very same program on another machine (Windoze!) running WinUAE with AmigaOS 3.5, the program correctly saves on disk the desired graph (as a picture)  into ILBM format (24476 bytes in size) and the resulting picture can be loaded into, for instance, FXPaint 2.0. Is this a problem with a missing library or something or, rather, an incompatibility between OS? Has anybody successfully used Multiplot on a OS3.9 machine?

Thanks and regards.
