GURU MEDITATION, recoverable alert
« on: February 01, 2003, 10:55:50 AM »
Will the new AmigaOS have guru meditation and would it have more informations of what went wrong?

How does MorphOS handles the software failure?

@ ple3003: why don`t you make your avatar a gif anim to make it flash like guru message does? :-)

Yes, it will, but they will be a bit different in the respect that they are going to try and be non-fatal. They will also have the option of giving more information to the developer about what went wrong, and they will have the possibility to tell you in which source code file/function the program crashed.
Look out, I\'ve got a gun

@rogue

RE: reporting exact function/file error occurred

I would guess that this was just for applications built with debug? Or do you mean offset in the binary file?
Hate figure. :lol:
