Hi CU!

I have been without my Amiga since Wednesday, by Thursday I had WinUAE up and running.  A day without a "Amiga" was enough ;-) BTW give UAE a go, it is quite good, even on a not so hot PC...and 100% better than Windows!

@miles

Well, i can still play the old classic games on my Amiga, as it is stock A1200 at the moment. But i do miss listening to my mp3s and playing on the games/emulators at the same time. Having said that i have sent my PPC to someone to repair to someone on this board, so hopefully he can fix that and i will be on my way to glory again! :-)

@CU_AMiGA

My pictures, emails, mp3s, docs, MAC hard files and floppy based software is all safely stored on Amiga formatted hard drives and zip disks and I can't get them onto the emulation without a SCSI based Amiga or a SCSI equipped PC running W2k or XP.  At least I will get it back, one day!   I still don't know if I should sell up and buy a bigger PC (for the 1.76 FDD alone I could get a good 64Mb AGP card here) and use emulated solutions.  With 4 large SCSI drives, 3 SCSI CDs and a SCSI CDR plus the IDE PC HDD and CDRW drives, a fast CPU and a Gig of RAM the Emulation would be rather good :-)  I could then play with BeOS, 68K Mac emulation, AROS, Mame etc.  I saw a guy on the net who had 37 different OS installs on one PC!  Shame no PPC OS4 or Morph though.  Anyway enough waffling, good luck with your repairs, good night to all I'm off to bed! ;-)
