Why are some URLs on Amiga.org and eBay full of ";&"...
« on: June 22, 2004, 04:23:35 AM »
I have cookies enabled for Amiga.org and eBay yet when I wish to reply
to a topic or log-in to eBay my URL gets ;amp& in it.

I have to double click the ;& and double-tap delete to quickly get
rid of it so I can press enter and proceed without it.

What is this if not related to cookies? I use Voyager 2.96.7 and don't
want to upgrade yet as I haven't had reliable performance from Voyager
3.x - Aweb and Ibrowse are horrible on my system.

The problem is Voyager :)
Voyager sux, always has..
Latest version, you can't even cut and paste

.. not to mention gif animation flicker, even when you have no flickering turned on.

It just, sux.. Crashes so damn much ;)

Anyway..

..

[Edit] I'll explain what's happening.. The URL's have "& amp ;" (without spaces and quotes) in it, which translates to an &, Voyager just doesn't do the translation (though I think the latest version does).

Actually, MorphOS version of Voyager is quite stable (for some unknown reason). Some even use it as their mainbrowser without any bigger problems.
