A tribute to all fathers!
« on: June 18, 2004, 01:22:06 AM »
Greetings to all,

On June 20, 2004, we'll be celebrating here Father's day.
I dedicate this thread to all fathers in the world!
Would like to greet my dad a Happy Father's Day, without
him I will never be a loyal Amigan that I am today. He bought me
my first computer, the C=64! Later, my A500.
He's no longer with us, but always an amigan in spirit to
me! I missed him. He's favorite game on the c=64, not the
Amiga version cause fonts are too small for him, was
Pirates! Later Civilization, Dune 2, K240 and best of all
The Patrician. He spends sleepless nights playing those
games I mentioned. I even created a cheat program to cheat
the credits on dune 2 and civ. If only Civ was a net game,
I'd challenge him to a friendly duel. To me he's the best!
I also would like to dedicate this thread to THE father of
the Amiga Jay Miner! Without him, there would never have
been the Amiga to enjoy computing with. I miss them all.
  They will always be my
INSPITRATION! CHEERS TO ALL FATHERS!!!!:-) :pint:

Good day to all Amigans!

Hey,

I owe a lot to my father. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here now. ;-) But I mean that in more ways than one. Like gizz72 (is that pronounced like the first syllable of gizzard? or... nm) my dad also played a major roll in getting me into computers. Back in the days of the old Spectrum. Ahh, I'm filling up.

He'll be getting a card and a pat on the back. I'm broke damnit! Last year I built him a new PC!
