Is the cpu used on most AmigaOnes of the G4/7450 off a sawtooth agp mb variety? Im looking into much faster cpus at better price for the A1's I have a feeling most g4 upgrade cpu's will work but im looking into voltages/pinouts etc etc.

Got my own answer..hehehe its a 7455 model which Im betting means most 7455 upgrades will work. I see 1.2 to 1.4 Ghz stuff for around 350 buck still outrageous compared to the athlon 64 3200 I just bought but I bet it will work.

Sure they work, if you just desolder the chip from the Mac-module and solder it onto the MAI-module
Sticking a Mac-module into an Teron is NOT a smart idea.

Is it even possible to set the correct multiplier setting for a faster CPU? Presumably there's something on the MAI CPU board?
