Personal Animation Recorder & TBC help
« on: June 07, 2004, 02:52:42 PM »
Hi folks! yesterday i got a very nice addition to my Amiga collection: i got an Amiga 4000 with P.A.R, TBC, GVP Splitter and IV 24. The only problem i got is that i have NO manuals / disks of PAR and TBC.
I tried in the Amiga Hardware Database page and in the Install Disks page, but no luck. All disks are stored in an ftp "Leitch", which seems to be down.
All im asking is that if anyone of you could provide me some copies of the manuals and disks, so i can have a fully operational computer to begin with

Kind Regards

Sebastian

Hi! Its a GVP TBC plus. Cant get it to make it work properly. No manual so i have no clue about how to set it up.
System includes a GVP Impact Vision 24, RGB Splitter (also GVP´s) and the afore mentioned (P.A.R. & TBC plus)
What it seems obvious here its not.
I cant get a clear picture in the monitor, image is "splitted", and i cant genlock anything...

damn, i invested a lot of money, i wanted to set up a small production machine...i even brought everything to my job. I wanted to show my bosses that they could still use Amigas for titling and production (i work in a journalism school)...
so imagine how dissapointed i am.
We spent almost 5 hours trying to get a picture out from the computer & mixed with some titles made with Scala...
no luck at all

Have to go home now, and take all my Amiga stuff with me and my poor broken heart...

Hi,

take alook here

http://www.gvp-m.com/Tbcplusm.htm

I own a Tbc+ from a life. It is a good card but requires a fine tuning with a lot of options.

You need the 2 install disks:

http://www.L8R.net/install/video_card/gvptbcinst.dms

http://www.L8R.net/install/video_card/gvptbcextra.dms

If you need some help about the TBC+, feel free to contact me privately.

Ciao

PS- Software Hut, is the official reseller of some GVP product.

Ask them for the TbcPlus User Manual
