Cannon Fodder savegame format problem
« on: June 04, 2004, 04:35:23 PM »
Hey all just wondered if anybody else has had a problem using the in-game disk formatter for saving games on cannon fodder? My internal drive wouldn't format any disks so I bought an external one and that formats disks fine for workbench, no errors or anything but when I come to format for in cannon fodder it gets to the end then comes up format error! :-(

I'm pretty sure the Cannon Fodder disk is an OFS formatted DD.  You should be able to do it under Workbench and just save to it in CF.

I know this is true for CF2, but I'm not sure about CF1.

Yeah but why won't the in game formatter work?! Is it possible to do that format from workbench 3.0?

Okay, I've checked my CF disks and I had to make a new save disk.  I did that, but it didn't work, it said it was successfull :-?

So, I booted back into WB and nothing had happened to the disk at all.  It still had some stuff on it from before :-?

This lick right here should help you though :-)
