Babylon 5 Actor Dies Unexpectedly
« on: May 24, 2004, 04:38:05 PM »
I learned over the weekend that actor Richard Biggs, who played Dr. Stephen Franklin on Babylon 5 and Babylon 5 Crusade, died unexpectedly.  The statement released by Michael Strazenski (creator of B5)can be found here:

http://www.jmsnews.com/msg.aspx?id=1-17099

All that is known is that he was young (in early 40's) and died quickly (suspect a massive stroke or brain aneurysm).

A sad day for all Babylon 5 fans.

Regards,

Gee Brain... what do you want to do tonight?

True, but he shouldn't have gone so early.

I might watch some of Season 4 later on, especially the ones where Franklin and Marcus smuggle themselves into Mars as husband and wife.  They had some priceless lines between them :-D

Very sad. :-(

Sometimes that happens to people who are young like that. It's like a timebomb waiting to go off. They should have some kind of compulsory scan you get for this condition at the age of 25, if indeed they can even detect it so early in advance.
