I've recently bought a C128d with a dead 1571 drive, I heard that mitsumi drives were prone to fail but i couldn't imagine that it was so spread.
I'm looking for a replacement solution for the drive, I would prefer a physical 5.25 Drive but emulation could also be great
I just had an idea that I would like to share as I don't have the skills to do that myself.
Should it be difficult to build an interface that would emulate 1571 electronics but uses a standard 5.25 PC drive ?
I think many of C128 users would be intrested in.
