Amiga Pyramid Sampler Parallelport Plug Pin shematics
« on: February 17, 2025, 04:00:46 PM »
Hi there,
yesterday I managed to re-connect my old Pyramid Amiga sampler.
It didn't work from the beginning on but then I noticed that one pin was ditched inside the plug a little.
I unscrewed it and managed to push it from the inside so it was on the same level as the other pins again.
Unfortunately made the mistake not to close the plug again right after. Connected the sampler was working fine.
This morning I pulled the plug off to close the plastic enclosure and unfortunately one pin is loose now.
I can not make it out if it is the one that is really on the side and it's broken off, or if it is the one next to it and I just could solder it back on again.
I don't want to experiment around with that ..
Anyone knows about the parallelport pins and what I should do?
Found this as well, in case you don't know the Pyramid sampler, but got in touch with the Telmex by any chance?  ..
The Telmex Amiga Sampler and the Micro R&D Pyramid Sampler appear to be exactly the same device

Thank you very much for any help!!

The terminal with the red wire is obviously broken off.  The empty solder bucket next to the broken one is un-used and not terminated.

Just replace the entire DB25 connector, they're easy to obtain and are not expensive.
