Tinkering with the A600GS
« on: August 18, 2024, 12:14:55 PM »
I know a few of us must have popped out the SD card and had a look around. To make life easier, any chance we could get an option in the GUI to enable SSH? And may we know the password for the a600gs or root users please? :)

I mean, we can enable SSH and change the passwords manually by mounting the SD card in another computer so this would just make tinkerers lives one step easier ;D

No. Else we would have loads of support issues as things have been changed.

If you want to do this, can't exactly stop you.
We would not be able to offer any support for anyone doing this. Mainly for reason mentioned above.

Wonder what RGL responce would be to this type of question,  ;)

heh yeah I certainly wasn't thinking of this as a supported option! More of a "here be dragons, I accept all responsibility, I know what I'm doing" mode :)
