The only thing I do not like is A600 GS SNES Contoller

Well it needed one to come with it so see why it has one, people would complain it does not have one otherwise... :) so I know you never made it, its a generic SNES Controller so not your fault how it acts, thats why you have `ASIS` in the manual, you have no control of shelf components.. :)

When you press left it has a habit of going down and left and you have press hard on the right shoulder button for it to move right.
I am now using THEGamePAD(Well I am using THEMOUSE too... :) ) thats a lot better but its Menu and Home buttons do not work as Select or Start, they do nothing at all.

Will you be adding a way of customising a controller at all so you can change its buttons...?

I am only letting you know before I forget about it and if no one tells you anything you will not know anything... :) hehe.. :)

I like my A600 GS and thats the only real problem with it, its SNES controller ... :) This is the last thread, sorry about the flood.. :( I leave you be now.

Its the way the DPad on the USB SNES Controller was made why when you press left direction it goes left and down, on the RGL THEGAMEPAD each direction is independent from each other so if you press left direction it only goes left not left down, for it to do a left and down you have press left and down on the DPad, the DPad has been built better then the SNES Controller DPad, they put some thought into it when they built the controller and so it didn't strate and do a angle when you pressed left or right on its DPad.

They made the DPad the same way they made the DPad on the ZX Spectrum Vega in 2016, its identical so the DPad works the same way as the arrow keys on a keyboard, if you think about it, its like a smaller version of the arrow keys that you can move your thumb across, same idea as how arrow keys work... :)

I do wish the Menu and Home buttons worked on THEGAMEPAD as Select and Start buttons, you can see the A600 GS Menu sees them as buttons, if I press Menu or Home buttons on the Controller Preferences Page it change the blue buttons to orange buttons of the screen so you can change what controller it use in what port by pressing them.

What does the A600 GS Menu use to config its Controllers/Joysticks, the gamecontollerdb.txt file (SDL), I know its used in Amiberry...?

I have a idea about the controllers/Joysticks, I post later about it.

I was thinking, you could make a page that has the controller buttons on it, this would only be for USB Controllers that have more buttons than 2 not on a DB9 joystick, so Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Select, Start, Right Shoulder, Left Shoulder, 8 buttons or more so only shows the buttons of the controller thats plugged in and then you can assign a button to one on the screen and it would then remember what buttons you assigned to what button.

So you highlight say Select in the list of buttons and then press on it and it would come up with `Please press a button on the controller you want to assign as [Select]` and you press the Select button or on THEGAMEPAD the Menu button and it would assign it as the Select button... :)

That it really... :)
