BBRV just posted the following today on OSNews;
Quote:
And, good luck with your development. We can assure that the core MorphOS team is doing just fine. Soon we will put together a team for AmigaDE which is what this thread is about. In the end DE will become something useful and Amiga Inc. will finally begin to generate so revenue.
People on both sides have been entertained and shocked by recent events. I noticed alot of cross posting between blue and red sites around the KMOS announcement and renewed legal activity - What struck me was the relative humour and considered postings by the vast majority of people. Now it looks as if BBRV is being conciliatory!
I hope this is a sign that we can go through a reconciliation process and end up with a united community with OS4/Morphos/AROS and UUE working together.
Let's face it, the peg and A1 by themselves are too small to provide a 'critical mass' for this community. And without a vibrant, continuing AmigaOS (I mean OS4 and Morph) then AROS would wither on the vine - people would just stick with UUE/3.9.
Maybe we could start with the formation of a body that could document a common guideline for developers on all three OS's to facilitate binary compatability (or at least easy compilation!)
