A600 Memory Expansion From Amiga Kit
« on: January 21, 2020, 04:13:29 PM »
Untelated, but on the topic of ... bashing products... recently an A500 memory expansion was announced and it was made a rather huge point about “resistor arrays on board to limit the rising/falling edge of some high speed signals“ and how other third party memory boards lack such, and hence should be avoided.

But - isn’t the equivalent A600 memory expansion (typically advertised above here) exactly such a board, that lacks the resistor arrays?

@kolla

Commodore stressed the importance in their design specifications of the A501 to have the resistor arrays.  However in their A601 expansion they were not required and omitted.

Our hardware designs follow the recommended specifications.

Hope this helps.
