AmiStore question
« on: October 24, 2015, 12:01:04 AM »
I'd like to start using AmiStore (by A-Eon)

and I guess I have to setup an account...
But what is AmiSphere?

Is AmiStore or AmiSphere connected to AmigaKit (where I have an account)

Any info?

Got it.
Since I sometimes do not use my amiga, can I log on with my pc too?
Or must I use the App AmiStore only on my amiga?

@amigakit
in my rush to setup an account... of course I messed it up. (sigh)

I left a message on the A-Eon site for help.
Should I PM you here too?

I tried buying from the AmiStore from my OS4.1 installation last night for the first time.

Of course, I failed because I didn't have an account, and it didn't give me a link, but it did say something about "AmiSphere".  I'm a smart guy -- I can find it.

So I loaded up OWS and googled it and found the account creation page.  I filled out the form, which it rejected because there was a ReCaptcha, which OWS doesn't support.  Of course, I then tried IBrowse and NetSurf 3.7 (which wouldn't even load the page).

So, here we are.  I can't use AmiStore because the AmiSphere web site doesn't support Amiga OS 4.1 browsers.

Does that seem right to anyone?

Try Odyssey without spoofing.
No Captcha seems to be needed for Odyssey . (Crafty A-Eon)

The setup info for Amistore and Odyssey is here
