WTB: GuruROM for GVP
« on: December 06, 2017, 11:17:27 PM »
Anyone have a spare GuruROM they will part with?  Looking for the GVP version, or the SpeedGeek universal one...  PM me your offers if you have any...  Thanks.

There was a guy making them and selling them on Amibay a year or so back.  Try there?  No, I don't want to part with mine.  ;)

I've got a box with them inside.  Unfortunately, it's currently in a storage locker.  Get back to me around this time of year next year when I'll have taken my stuff out of storage and sorted through it all.

Note that if you weren't already aware, you'll also need the little PCB adapter in addition to the ROM.

I REALLY hope when someone asks for a GuruROM, the implied request includes the item that makes up the assembly that IS the GuruROM.

I have already been burnt once with that "interpretation" on a trade.

So yes, I want the ENTIRE assembly, as sold, when new, with the little circuit board with a SeaFoam green interposer socket with attached and programmed GAL that allows the ROM to work in GVP series Hard drive controller cards and accelerators, PREFERABLY with a post 6.11 ROM installed.

Hopefully that clarifies it a bit for anyone reading...
