Posieden + Subway + A600 + OS 3.9 ?
« on: September 01, 2016, 10:21:35 AM »
Hi there,

Is there a trick to Posieden working with AmigaOS 3.9 ?

I've an A600 with the following config :

Vampire2
A604n
Indivision ECS
SubwayUSB on the 2nd clockport of the A604n
AmigaOS 3.9 BB2 (with the patched ROM for the Vampire ... just something in exec.library apprently)

But with every version of Posieden I have to hand (3.3 which came with the Subway and 4.5 which I found - am I allowed/licensed to use that version ?) I can't get the SubwayUSB to come online.  Are there any known issues ?  Or things to try ?

If I do a bare bones install of AmigaOS 3.1 (with just MUI and installer added) it all works great!
But I want extra prettiness of 3.9 :-)

Thanks!

I don't own that specific hardware but off-hand it should work. I use 4.5 with 3.9 all the time with my RapidRoad.  What exactly happens when you try to bring the device online? You might want to post any error messages, logs, etc.  Good luck! :)

Try running SnoopDOS to check if any libraries are needed / missing.
