Ugh, I really dislike this kind of comment. Just because *you* had problems, doesn't mean there's not thousands of people out there who've been able to install them successfully. BB2 in particular contains many important fixes to the OS that someone who wants to run a modern (-ish) AmigaOS will need. With that kind of attitude, might as well just say to he*&% with 3.9 altogether, and stick with 1.3. :angryfire:
Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now. Cheers!

No, Mike. Please enlighten me (and probably multiple others)..
I've tried installing in this order on at least the following machines:
Plain A1200 with 2.5"HD well below the max cap limit and CD-rom with IDEFix sw.
Plain A1200 with CF-adaptor. Tried with both 512MB, 2GB, 4GB CF cards and CD-rom with IDEFix sw.
Both of the above tried with both a plain 8BM exp, Blizzard 1230 MK-III@50MHz with 64MB ram and a Blizzard 1260@50MHz with 64MB ram (with proper libs ofc)
A4000D with 3.5"HD well below max cap limit and CD-rom on mobo IDE with IDEFix sw.
A4000D with 3,5"HD well below max cap limit and CD-rom on FastATA 4000 MK-VI CF/SATA with FastATA driver from Elbox
Both of the above tried with both 8MB mobo ram + 3640, and a Cyberstorm MK-II 060@50MHz with 128MB ram (with proper libs ofc)
In later tries, i got the OS3.9 Emergency Disk to work, but if that fails, i start with installing WB3.1, then either IDEFix or FastATA driver. I then restart (tried both warm/cold) and start installing OS3.9.
I then install BoingBag#1, reboots as told (tried both warm/cold), then install BoingBag#2.
Here i get the dreaded question; "Do you want to install ROM update?" and i've tried both yes and no. If i say "yes", i usually need to boot withough Startup-Sequence and "Skipromupdates" scsi.device and/or some others. I can't really remember right now, but i get it working, not knowing if i'm getting the most optimal system/updates or not.
I've tried to play with Remul(?), following Mfilos's guide and making my own softkickable KickStart with updated libs, devs and handlers, and i somehow get it working, sometimes it need a reboot or 2... or 3...
But when i install BoingBag#3 and 4... (i ofc tried that before installing BB#3 and 4, but it doesn't matter... BB#3 and 4 really gives me a lot to work with (correct and blindly change Startup-Sequence until it works. Somewhat).
I know there are as many Amiga Configurations out there as there are users, but i wish there was a common "platform" or "base" and "fail-safe" install of the BoingBags that would work on all non-expanded Amigas (except memoryexpansions ofc)
The variables could be changed later, 060CPU, Mediator, GFXcard, Spider, Soundcard, Network, FastATA, etc. These are all hardware that can be installed afterwards anyways. And the 060 libs are easy to copy over in Shell, even if you install with it inserted. Same with scsi.device.
So, i'm not saying the BoingBags suck and that the creators should pick up knitting instead, i am very thankful for ANY effort regarding Amiga, but surely there are more people having the same issues with this and a stickied guide would be awesome. :-)
