Unable to complete purchase in AmiStore

I'm trying to complete the purchase of Southern Islands in AmiStore, but I am unable to complete the transaction.

After pressing checkout to proceed with payment, AmiStore attempts to open IB Browser, which btw it's not my default browser, but there is a connection/permission error preventing the payment page to open.

Is there any other way to complete the purchase and download the driver?

I already received my VisionTek HD7750 slim profile and I'm ready to install but I need the drivers first.

because of SSL issues you'll need to use odyssey to make purchases with amistore. full instructions for setting up are available here: http://amistore.net/checkout_compatible_browser.html

I followed the instructions (see picture using this link https://www.dropbox.com/s/vf7dnr83zw78y50/URL%20Preferences?dl=0) but I still can't get Odyssey to open from AmiStore or when I use the test option in the URL Preferences window.

Am I missing something?

make sure you launch odyssey on its own at least once to setup the APPDIR: path.

I did that too and nothing.

No worries. It worked this time.

I reentered all fields again, this time hitting enter after every field. For some reason it worked and I made the purchase and downloaded the files.

Now, on a related question. Now that I have the files and also the card (not installed yet), what do I do first?

If I installed the drivers can I still use my computer until I can find the time to install the HD 7750 card?

Where can I find more detailed information on how to proceed with this upgrade (hardware and software)?
