Hi fordp,
Even if Commodore reused parts, there other properties to look for.
For example:
- The low serial number 43914 !
- The Kickstart version 1.2, according to the site Amigaroms this was introduced in 1986 and replaced by Kickstart 1.3 in 1988.
Serial Number is mostly likey a very good indicator, I've never looked closely ast such things, as its not really my thing. Checking, min is ROM 1.2, but Serial CA1010515, Whatever that means..
"As the Warranty seal is still intact i can't open it because i want the future buyer to purchase an authentic piece of Amiga history."
Darn, all of my Amiga stuff is no longer authentic
Heh, I think the first order of business for me with new hardware is to take out a screwdriver, I'd make a POOR collector of things meant to be MIB.
