I think it IS the same adaptor. Using a sd to cf adaptor and then use cf to ide adaptor is a solution of course, but i would like to eliminere redundancy if possible. :-)

As in a raid sort of function?
if on disk dies one is still present?
Or do you just want to have your files stored in multiple places?
Or is it eliminating unneeded components....?
have you considered just using CF cards instead of SD?
in my A1200 i have a SCSI 3.6gig hdd. and i have copied the contents of all my floppys into the hdd. and i used my zip drive to transfer all of it to a hardfile in uae. then i copied the hardfile to cd and to my nas server running raid 6... as for redundancy.....

next project is to make adf image of all the floppies...
