16MB Fast RAM
2.1GB SCSI Hard Drive
High Density DF0:
Standard DF1: (no button)
Kickstart 3.1
CR2032 Battery Holder Installed
Repaired LED Board
I purchased this Amiga 3000 a while back. Originally had some issues, such as distorted audio (fixed with a replacement power supply), broken LED board, etc. I fixed it up as best as I could and would like to now pass it on to someone who can use it!
CR2032 battery mod was installed before I purchased it, not installed by me. I believe the battery is low and should be replaced if you care about it.
LED board has been repaired using non-stock LEDs as pictured, but honestly when the case is on it looks very good compared to stock (see pic).
Display is nice and solid through the VGA output on my Dell LCD monitor. Audio sounds great.
No disks included, Workbench is pre-loaded on it from the previous owner. Kickstart 3.1 in ROM.
Hard drive is a Seagate ST32550N. I'm included an external SCSI terminator as pictured. Rear ports are missing the hex screws as pictured.
Both floppy drives seem to function fine, both read the disks that I have to test with. However the LEDs seem a bit odd - the right-hand LED will light when I read a disk on the left. Not sure if this is a jumper setting, or something else? As mentioned the 2nd floppy drive is missing the eject button, but I believe you can order a replacement here:
http://www.shapeways.com/model/31038...5&materialId=6Case is in good shape. Some dings/scuffs here and there, especially on top, color seenms pretty good and overall very good shape. Power button operates fine.
Please keep in mind I have not been big in the Amiga scene for decades. Mostly a lurker now, so I don't have tons of software or know all the ins and outs. However, I have tested this unit to the best of my ability. System seems to work great, the few games I have tried worked, joystick I have to test with worked, my test mouse and keyboard work fine.
Due to the age of the system I cannot guarantee anything other than I have tested and described it to the best of my ability.
I am selling the computer only - no keyboard, no mouse, etc...
I am selling within the US only.
$400 including PayPal fees, plus $35 shipping to continental US.
