Drone Music Program for Amiga?
« on: April 12, 2014, 05:33:38 PM »
Just out of curiosity, does Amiga or MorphOS have a musick program like "Feed" or "Drone FX" for iPad that produces drone tones?

Something in line with Tangerine Dream, Zoviet France, or Pink Floyd.

Not that I'm aware of...I think with the Amiga you'd have to do it with samples played at low intervals to get a drone effect. I really like the ambient stuff from Tangerine dream and sampled stuff from some of their earlier albums and I'm discovering music from the likes of Manuel Gottsching as a reference to early house music. Doing effects with the Amiga was a matter of adding command effects to distort sound which still sound crisp and nice for these times:)
