Simon Goodwin  (Codemaster, HiSoft BASIC, Amiga DE and a lot, lot more) has very  kindly agreed to deliver the opening keynote speech and will be  available to chat about all things Amiga and beyond.

As well as a  range of stands and exhibits for any retro fan, there will be X1000,  SAMs, MorphOS, AROS, AEROS and Classic Amigas all together for everyone  to try out and argue over ;)

Pick up a bargain - a number of  Classic machines will be available on a first come first served basis  and there might just be a BlizzardPPC equipped A1200 up for sale too.

Lots  for all the family to do - bring the wife and kids along. Loads of  Raspberry Pi and robotics kits will be available at discount prices from  our trade partners and the historic Shakespeare's School will be open  for tours.

More information at the Recursion Website

Just got home from here, after visiting with my youngest son.

There is a great line up of machines to play on - including an A1200 running Zool.

The Amiga is represented well there with a number of machines running AROS, an AmigaOne X1000 an A500 with A5000 expansion and an A600 (display only, not connected).
A1200 in DIY Tower. 3.2 ROMs (softkicking 3.2.3), OS 3.2.3, CF card, CD RW and IDE to SD adapter running off the internal IDE port (using the A4000 4-port IDE adapter from Amigakit), Pistorm 32 lite with Pi4/2GB/Emu68 or Blizzard 1230-IV, with 32MB 60ns RAM and 50MHz 68882 FPU.
MorphOS on PowerMac G5 and ATI 9600 pro

Many thanks to everyone who popped down/up/over to Recursion on Saturday.

It was particularly good talking to Simon Goodwin, our guest speaker. Fascinating stuff.

Special thanks to Nick, Nigel, Andy and Paul for bringing Amiga/MorphOS/AROS machines to show off and play with - it was good to meet you all. Sorry I couldn't spend more time with you - it was a bit frantic at times sorting out the rest of the show.

Nigel has posted a nice report here and I'll upload a couple of my better images on the Recursion Website later today.

Special mention must go to Niels Bache who came across from Denmark, demonstrating a pretty impressive dedication to Amiga! Niels, I hope you and your wife enjoyed Stratford - sorry I couldn't get you into Shakespeare's classroom; he caretaker was pretty grumpy that we overran our clear-up time!

Hope to see you all (and more!) next year...
