Super League Competition
« on: April 06, 2013, 04:47:20 AM »
Just thought i might post this about the LemonAmiga vs EAB Classic Amiga game competition we have been running jointly on the 2 premiere classic amiga sites for the last 4 years. We are always open to new competitors of all standards.

Amiga Super League
I have recnetly set up a website that has a live ladder of the current standing in the competition. Saves having to trundle through the forums if you just want to see what game we are playing at any given time.

What's so super about the Super League?
It brings the Amiga community together. Gamers from the websites Lemon Amiga and EAB all play together from their own forum. In every round the site with the highest average submitted scores gets a point. At the end of the year the site with the most points is declared the winner.

This month we are playing Babanoid [2003] and Downfall [2012], 2 fairly recently released PD games. Join us here

The next 3 weeks we play Speedball II

Play Knockout mode - your score will be 1,000 multiplied by the round you reach, together with the goal difference during the last game you play - i.e. a 36-20 defeat in round four will give you a score of 3,984. Draws and defeats mean your game is over..

For the 7th year running, Lemon Amiga and EAB will host the internationally acclaimed Super League games competition, in which participants vote for and play Amiga games, and post a screenshot of their scores. Its an adventure, and will introduce players to games they never played before.

Some games you wont be very good at, and some you'll absolutely love, you may even win some rounds!

The Super League Competition has just started for 2014. There are 14 rounds until Nov 29th. Then we have a Knockout competition.

The rules and dates for the Super League Competition 2014 can be found
on Lemon Amiga
on EAB

The first round is Crazy Cars III.
