Nope, the plastic on the warranty stickers goes brittle, and can easily be pushed in, without intending to.

I'd agree it hasn't been opened.

It isn't a 500+, so it doesn't have a battery.

Hmnm the light was reflecting off the badge too much for me to tell, but it looked like a 500+ badge and it ships with KS 2.04 by the looks of it, also the motherboard seems to say A500+ and has space for a (removed) battery...

@S0nic
Your Amiga is not exactly an A500+, it uses the same rev8 motherboard and custom chips as the A500+ but it has been factory configured without half the RAM, without the Real Time Clock and without the capability to add 1 MB chip RAM on the trapdoor slot, so essentially it has been brought down to plain old A500 specifications and was actually sold as such.

So it's best to think of it as an A500 and not as an A500+. Commodore certainly believed so ;) (it's a potential A500+, if you like, but you must install all the missing components before it becomes an A500+).

Accordingly, as it was shipped with KS 1.3 (A500+ was never shipped with KS 1.3 btw), these manuals are correct.

Kickstart 1.3 is built into ROM on the A500, you don't need a disk.

Not really sure where you're going with this thread, but this info from Wikipedia might help you:

Quote
Although officially introduced in 1992, some Amiga 500 Plus units had already been sold (masquerading as Amiga 500 models, and with no prior announcement) during late 1991. It has been speculated that Commodore had already sold out the remaining stocks of Amiga 500s, before the run up to the profitable Christmas sales period. In order to make enough A500s before Christmas, Commodore used stocks of the new 8A revision motherboards destined for the A500+. Many users were unaware that they were purchasing anything other than a standard Amiga 500. Although the Amiga 500+ was an improvement to the Amiga 500, it was minor. It was discontinued and replaced by the Amiga 600 in summer 1992, making it the shortest lived Amiga model

So you've got an A500+ motherboard that was downgraded to standard A500 spec, or never outfitted fully with 1MB chip, the battery, or KS2.04 ROM.  You'd probably need the standard A500 1.3 manuals to have a complete set.  Should be plenty of those kicking around, good luck!  :)
