HXC USB Floppy Emulator and Disk drive in Amiga 1200?
« on: December 05, 2013, 10:32:06 PM »
Hello all,
I have got a Amiga 1200 that i have modded with a HD flash card and a DVI video part. I'm now thinking of getting for my Amiga 1200 a HXC USB Floppy Emulator. So i can put the chip inside the Amiga case and make a hole for the USB socket that i'm thinking of installing to the side of the case.

I like the idea of the USB Floppy Emulator so i can send ADF files from my PC to the Amiga saving having disks that end up stop working on me over time. :D

I have seen a SD card emulator, but i don't know where i can put the SD card chip inside the Amiga and putting files onto the sd card sounds messy from looking at youtube videos. The emulator boot menu i don't like the looks off too!

One more thing on the SD card emulator, i have never seen any videos showing you how to copy games of the sd card emulator to Amiga workbench HD. All i can see is the emulator auto booting games on system reboot.

I like to know if their is away on adding two disk drives inside the Amiga.
More like USB Floppy Emulator and Amiga disk drive plugged up at the sometime, so i'm not taking away the good old Amiga disk drive.

Thank you for your help :D

Sorry for any bad spelling errors. :drink:
