Old Amiga Tech + Modern Tech
« on: April 22, 2013, 04:13:32 PM »
Hey all.  This past weekend at Barcamp Rochester, I set up my old Amiga 1000 with a video camera, Genlock, and some more modern equipment to let people draw (in DPaint) over live video of themselves, and then post screengrabs of it to Tumblr.

I'm positive that there are better ways of doing this, but based on the hardware and technology I had on hand, this is the solution I came up with.  Many people enjoyed playing with it, or just seeing the old A1000 sitting on the table.  :D
