A quick google turns up some ADF downloads but, I don't want to post the actual links here and be branded a pirate.

I have this sampler as well, and I don't use any software specifically designed for it. It works out of the box in Protracker 2.3D. I think you should be able to use most sampler software interchangeably with different samplers, since they all essentially work the same way.

Octamed works quite well with midi, it will also do sampling with your Technosound.
I had a Technosound Turbo 2 back in the day and was quite impressed with the software.

I had one of these many moons ago. It should just work with any software that has support for parallel port samplers, such as Protracker etc

Yes it was one of the only ones to allow direct recording to hard disk. For some reason it used it's own proprietary format for that and not iff. I did write a convertor back in the day, if it's not on aminet then I'll see if I still have a copy of it.

The only thing I remember using it for was sampling http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backwards_(Red_Dwarf_episode). My VCR could play video backwards perfectly at 1x but it was silent. There were very few people outside the TV industry that would have been able to watch it in the order it was filmed in the early 90's (it was broadcast in 1989 but there were no hard disk samplers for the A500 back then).

I had to write the software for reversing the sample as well. I'll see if I still have that too.

I highly recommend Audiomaster IV. It was free on CUAmiga coverdisk 119 (November 1995).
You can download it from the link, and any other coverdisks you'd like:

http://amr.abime.net/coverdisk_index_6

Enjoy!

and Technosound turbo 2 was on coverdisk 73a of Amiga Format 73 (Jul 1995)

I haven't checked whether it's the one that can record to hard disk though.

I did use audiomaster iv a few times and it was good too.
