PS: People always say that PCMCIA RAM is so slow, but I think that it just has a bad reputation. People who say that sometimes just repeat what they have heard, they have not tried themselves, at the same time I do NOT claim that it is fast. But certainly in an A600 with 68000 processor it is fast enough. I never noticed anything slow about it. Maybe if you use it in a 68030 system it seems slow. Or maybe PCMCIA RAM just has an undeserved bad reputation.

I certainly DON'T repeat what I have heard...
I tested an 4MB PSram-card with an unexpanded standard
1MB-chip A600 and tested the speed with SysInfo.
It turned out that it was even slower then without the
extra 4MB PSram.
Then I tested an 2MB Sram-card, and that one was
slightly faster than the standard 1MB-chip A600,
according to SysInfo!
