Not trying to pick on you, but I'm shocked this news had yet to be submitted to the
news submission link found on the home page just above the news. In any case, I had a bit of free time while polishing the last of my latest essay after working on the new AO engine. Please remember, all of the members of AO (including me) can submit news to the site whenever you want, pending moderation of course. Located on the administrative section is a highlighted area which shows any news happening, links broken, images uploaded, classifieds posted, and forum conversations. Posting news using the news submission link alerts the moderators and webmasters of news to be edited and posted.
We do rely on user feedback and user submissions to keep the news going. From time to time you will see a friendly reminder of this. Thanks for posting the information in the forums at least, I might not have caught it if I didn't see it in the latest topics.
