Hi
« on: January 31, 2013, 09:59:23 PM »
After receiving a lot of help with my thread in th/e Amiga marketplace forum, i thought i would introduce myself.
I live in the U.S.A but emigrated to here from jolly old England, 12 years ago.
I am an older guy, so i don`t know if i am surrounded by a younger community, but nevertheless, it`s great to be here.
I brought my Amiga and all it`s software with me from England. I couldn`t bear to leave it behind.
Anyway, here i am, and thank you all for the support i have been shown already.
You don`t, and probably never will know, how much this site has made me happy. It`s good to see we Amigan`s keeping our computers alive.

Welcome to the warmth thesnapman44 :)
I hope you will enjoy A.org, I know I do!

Nice to see you shipped your A1200 oversea, good luck selling the beauty.
I myself could be interested in knowing what software and games you have and id be happy to buy some if you got anything I need :)

I myself live in Sweden, here you get more for your A1200, they usually sell for a minimum of 230$, I myself payed about 260$ for mine stock but with 3.1 roms, so good sellers market here but not as good buyers market :(
The 030 cards go for around 200-250$ here but I bought the ACA-1231/42MHz with 64MB ram instead of apollo/Blizzard due to a few reasons.

You don't have to worry about age here, many of us have our fair share of years and ive never seen anyone old or young being threated differently because of their age, so everyone is welcome here!

So once again welcome!

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here."
