Iomega Zip drive on parallel port?
« on: March 10, 2006, 03:11:22 AM »
I know there is support for the SCSI version of the Iomega 100mb zip drive but do these drivers support the parallel port verion of the Iomega zip drive?

From what I remember, you need a custom driver (see Aminet) and a replacement parallel port - it won't work on the Amiga's native port so you need a Zorro or clockport I/O extender.

You can create an interface to use a parallel port Zip drive in the Amigas standard port.  Check out ppazip.lha on Aminet.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
