Those numbers are looking good.
A bit slower than an A3000/25Mhz with Integer (which you'd expect with the slower speed), but not much.
And faster graphics performance...

All in all, that's a nice looking little card..

If I didn't have my ACA1230/28 (Thanx Amigakit!!!), I'd probably pull the trigger.  ;-)

The 030 is quicker, has an MMU and can map the rom into ram (which also makes it quicker)..
Now, I have an 030 (EC tho, so no MMU), so I agree an 030 is nicer. ;-)

But won't the 1220 be able to map the ROM into RAM using ACATUNE?
That feature doesn't need an MMU, so it should (I think?) also work with the 1220.....

Any plans for a version with a 68882 FPU?  An 030 really doesn't speed up a Mac emulation much without the FPU.

Anyone know of an accelerator for the A1200 with an 030/68882 or 040?

Hi Jim,

Sorry- there are no plans by the manufacturer to introduce FPU support.

I've actually heard some people say that you can add an FPU to the 1200.
There's a spot on the board, and supposedly, as long as your accelerator doesn't have one to conflict.

I'm not sure what all is involved other than soldering in a socket (and a clock source?), but for technical people, it should be doable I would think..
