@yssing

Nah, SAM is just ok and current price  ~300 is quite reasonable.

Hmm btw:

I still use my A1200/060 no moving parts at all, doesnt make a sound, not even the floppies. Its underpowered compared to +3ghz what-ever cpu. But I still enjoy using my amiga.

But you rather bash those who want GHz machines instead of 667MHz? Hmm...

Hero. Which topic is this forum about, recently? "I spend money on a cheap PC" and "How to install Windows 8"? Oh dear.

So why don't you manufacture a new system from scratch that will run AmigaOS4.x for a better price ? And then provide great customer support and i'll bet you'll come to the conclusion that ACube are Amiga fans first and foremost and hopefully a little profit is gained to support the next model :-)

But then again it's easier to criticize from your arm chair eh

new system??.... Sam440ep Flex is old it was first released in 2008 for the os4... its standard was then of the 1998. today it is 2012 and in a few months we hit 2013. things move forward, people are already struggling with slow system. because 660mhz isn't enough for the os4. so they could just drop the 660mhz model, and just sell the 730mhz as minimum system for only €170... in 1 year or so this system will be useless for the internet, it will be like trying to get your old 1995 pc/mac on the internet with windows 1995/os9.

Sam440ep Flex is like an appetizer, before the big dinner. in this case the big dinner is the X1000... if money is short, just save up your money for the X1000. in 2013 it will get a price drop too, that i am sure about.

I will buy a complete system.  Do you guys ship to the US?  How much for the AmigaOne 500 in US dollars?  Does it include Amiga OS 4.2?  What can I do to make this computer last for at least 20 to 30 years?
Amiga 500 (like new in box) , Amiga 2000 (like new in box) , Amiga 2500 (like new in box) , Amiga 3000T (like new) , 2 - Amiga 500 Towers , AmigaOne with OS 4.1

Itix >> If you felt that I was bashing at people with ghz machines, then either you misread what I wrote or my formulation was wrong. Naturally I didnt bash ghz owners, that would be bashing myself.
All I ment was, I use and enjoy using my A1200/060.

Anyway, these prices are pretty low, and I would love a AOS4 system but alas can't afford alot, yet, so this is a great entry price for me.

Fell free to think and feel what you want, I to will enjoy that freedom.

I am sorely tempted to buy one of the cheapest ones but is the difference between the 667 & 733 really noticeable?

I wish I could afford an x1000 but it is so far out of my league especially when I cant be sure it will be money well spent.

Maybe Acube are already working on their next generation.

Hmmm ... I wonder how they survived by now, not how they would survive from now, since situation has improved in every aspect at least a bit.
