A1 500: Everything keeps crasching!
« on: April 04, 2012, 11:03:38 AM »
Yesterday I finally got my longed after Aone 500 (with 60 gb SDD and a Radeon 4560 gfx card as extras) and turned it on. The first thing that hit me was an annoying gfx glitch in the lover right corner that I couldn't fix (it came and went every time I rebooted).

But more importantly: everything keeps crashing! No web browser hold out for more that some clicks on web pages before crashing. Ibrowse holds out the best, but not by much. Programs refuse to install or crashes in mid installation. Jack worked, but gave me a strange gfx glitch on the mouse pointer. Most other programs refuse to work or crashes almost instantly. I rebooted at least every two minutes due to crashes. Long story short: this computer is at this state totally useless!

Is AOS 4.1 (update 2 to 4) really this unstable? Or is it maybe my gfx card thats doing all this mess? Does anyone else have the same experience?

I would really like to fix this if possible. Otherwise I have to return it. And that would be a major bummer.
