ROM hack for Amiga 1000 from Aminet.

I would like to know, if anyone have tried and succeeded in making this hack from Aminet?

I tried, but no boot  I even used correct 2.04 ROM. Ofcourse I suspected my skills first, but I didn't find any success stories anywhere about it. I just would like to know is there some errors in this guide?

The document don't even mention to change any jumper settings on motherboard (W1-W4) or anything.

The main reason that I tried this hack is because I have one spare A1000 with dead WOM daughterboard which I hope to bypass with this ROM hack.

Answers will be greatly appreciated.

Looks pretty straightforward... (haven't checked the exact pinouts though)

The jumpers don't matter, they're just for changing pinout to the ROM sockets (probably for mask ROM/EPROM compatibility). You've pulled the boot ROMs, haven't you?

Well well, it seems no one here succeeded in doing this hack to A1000? Well, I should drop my hopes on this one if so. So I f***ing kickstarting this old thing like I've done it before, thank you. Let's have this genuine A1000 experience one more time before this friggin' kickstart floppy disk puke on me.

I never dir the ROM, but did do the stacked 27C512's eproms, I'd assume that overall it's the same in the end, and you still need to disable or move the WOM.
