That was a nice read and I don't normally do interviews, infact I've only read a couple ever LOL

I can assure him I've had a double great experience with the X1000 :hammer:

FTA:

"Do you think you will personally use the AmigaOne X1000 (with AmigaOS 4.2 or Linux)? Is there a utility outside of the small world of Amiga?"

"Having the ability to run Linux makes the Nemo board a very good general purpose development platform. We have certainly played with it extensively here although the appetite for AmigaOS amongst the younger engineers seems to be a bit of an acquired taste."

An "acquired taste."  Hmm....

Looks like the Hyperion indoctrination team forgot to tell him to only position OS4 in a positive light...

THAT is a seriously disturbing idea.

On Paul Gentle, he's a knowledgeable designer who helped point me toward alternatives to the PA6T before it was acknowledged that his firm designed the X1000.

If Trevor ever does bankroll the Freescale Qorlq based successor that's been bandied about, I can't think of anyone else better to turn to for design assistance.
