Microvitec GPM 1701 specifications

Hey all again,

Just wondering if any of you guys know what the specs are for a Microvitec GPM 1701? Im installing CGX on a new machine I got and id like to know what settings to use for the monitor so I get the best possible screens for CGX.

I don't know if its any use to you, but I found this.

Its in http://www.foggy.co.uk/html/mdf.html - its a GPM1701 monitor def file for Acorn RiscOS of all things :-)

Man! THAT would have to be one of the LARGEST different screen resolution groups that I have seen for a non-amiga!?!

I think I've still got my manual for my old Microvitec 1701 ....  I can dig it out if ya want.

On that Subject ... My daughter (Melissa) Has the Amiga branded version ... Which has just gone tits up !!

I installed a new graphics card in her pc and I think I might have "overdriven" the monitor.  I think I set it at 1024 x 768 @ 85 Mhz !!

Oh well,  It was chuffing old.   Just that ...  I wanted to buy a new Hard drive for my A1 ( for Os4)....

Now I gotta buy another monitor.... they're arguing already      ( sisters).
